45 minute sessions | Delivered by Marches Movement CIC Fully funded by Lingen Davies Cancer Fund These gentle yoga sessions are designed for people who have been diagnosed with cancer, whether you are currently undergoing treatment, living with cancer, or in recovery. The classes focus on slow, mindful movement, simple strength and balance work, and guided breath awareness. The approach is trauma-sensitive and adaptable, with options offered throughout so that you can respond to your bodyโs needs on the day. Movements may be done standing, seated on a chair, or resting on a mat, and rest is always encouraged. There is no expectation to push or strain ~ the intention is to gradually rebuild comfort, stability, and confidence in your body. No previous yoga experience is needed. ๐ Potential Benefits Gentle yoga during and after cancer treatment may support: Physical wellbeing + Improving gentle strength and mobility + Reducing stiffness and muscle tension + Supporting balance and stability + Encouraging deeper, more relaxed breathing Emotional well being +Reducing stress and anxiety +Supporting nervous system regulation +Creating space for rest and recovery +Rebuilding trust and confidence in the body + Energy and recovery ๐ What to Expect Each 45-minute session may include: ~ Gentle joint mobility and stretching ~ Simple strength and balance exercises ~ Guided breathing + relaxation practices ~ Time for rest + relaxation Everything is optional and adaptable, and participants are encouraged to move at their own pace. ๐ Who These Sessions Are For These sessions are suitable for: + People currently undergoing cancer treatment + People living with cancer + People in recovery or living beyond cancer **If you have had surgery within the last 12 weeks, we recommend checking with your healthcare team before attending.** Practical Info ~No previous yoga experience required ~ Comfy clothing recommended ~ Movements can be done seated or standing ~ Rest is always encouraged Sessions are fully subsidised + free to attend. Spaces are kept small to ensure a calm and supportive environment. ๐ Booking Spaces are limited, so booking in advance is recommended. If you feel drawn to join, you are warmly welcome. You are invited to come exactly as you are, with whatever energy you have on the day. Itโs completely normal to feel unsure about starting something new during or after treatment ~ these sessions are designed to meet you gently, wherever you are.

Cancellation Policy
Non-refundable term bookings: When you book a course or term of classes, your place is reserved for the full duration of that term. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once payment has been made. Clear notice: Please ensure you can commit to the dates before booking. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and accept this policy. Missed sessions: We cannot offer refunds, credits, or make-up sessions for missed classes. Studio cancellations: If we have to cancel a class or the entire term for any reason, we will offer you either a full refund for the affected session(s) or a credit towards a future class or term. Consumer rights: Your statutory rights remain unaffected. If you book online and the term has not yet started, you have a 14-day cooling-off period in which you may cancel for a full refund. By attending or allowing the term to begin within that period, you waive this right.
