A 6 Week Yin Yoga Journey 🍂
Available spots
Service Description
Course runs 6 weeks from Thurs 13th Nov ~ Thurs 18th Dec. As the seasons turn and the light begins to fade, we’re invited to slow down, release what we no longer need, and turn gently inward. This 6 week Yin Yoga journey offers a space to honour that transition, from the golden energy of autumn to the quiet depth of winter. Each week, we’ll explore stillness through long-held, floor-based poses that support the body’s meridian lines connected to the lungs, large intestine, kidneys and bladder ~ the energetic pathways of letting go, rest, and renewal connected with the elements of metal and water. With gentle guidance, breath awareness, and seasonal themes, we’ll nourish joints and fascia while cultivating emotional spaciousness and inner warmth. This course will help you: ✨ Activate the parasympathetic 'rest and digest' response, reducing stress and anxiety. ✨ Promote better sleep + overall calm through mindful breathing and stillness. ✨ Encourage regulation and resilience through slow, conscious movement. ✨ Cultivate the energy of letting go, both physically and emotionally. ✨ Encourage deep rest, reflection, and a stronger connection to self. ✨ Hydrate fascia, open joints, and release stored tension in the body. ✨ Honour a weekly pause for self-inquiry and re-connection during a busy season. ✨ Strengthen intuition and body awareness by learning to listen deeply. ✨ Builds a rhythm of consistent rest and restoration. ✨ Learn tools to carry mindfulness into daily life beyond the mat. ✨ Stay accountable with community connection and shared stillness in a supportive environment. Each week, you’ll be guided through a grounding practice that blends the wisdom of the season, yin yoga postures, and reflective themes to help you feel calm, balanced, and aligned as we move deeper into autumn. Bolsters, blankets + blocks will be provided to help you settle into the poses and truly relax. FAQ ~Do I need experience? No yoga or Yin yoga experience is required. This is a very slow style of yoga and great for beginners with plenty of time to ask questions if needed/receive extra support. ~Do I need to be flexible? No - this is the best style of yoga to help cultivate your flexibility with long holds that gently stress + hydrate the fascia, the deep connective tissue.
